Maybelle

April 15, 2008 - December 18, 2017

Maybelle was our pride and joy. She was the first baby Robert and I shared a love for after we wed. I grew up always wanting a Corgi and when I was 19 that wish came true. Maybelle was born in Springfield, Missouri, and I’ll never forget that first time I saw her. We went to pick her up and her and all her siblings came crawling out from under a shed they were cuddled together under. My heart burst in that moment and that sweet girl became my biggest love in that moment. She went through a move from Florida to Arkansas about a year later, sitting beside my husband the entire drive. That trip bonded them in a way I never could have imagined.

Maybelle was a silly girl who wasn’t much a fan of other animals, but boy did she love people. She would run up to any person she saw, wagging her entire backside, hoping they were going to give her some love. She was the best dog we ever had. She is missed by all who loved her. We know her and her brother will be waiting at the gates for us one day.
