Mojo Jojo

January 7, 2007 - February 23, 2019

Mojo was our evil monkey genius. He could figure out any puzzle. He had so many names: Fluffy butt, fluffy pants, mojo pants and more I can’t remember anymore. One of my favorite things to remember about him is that he would stalk me in the kitchen looking for food. Once he licked flour up off the floor when I was baking. He knew a command that started out as “Get your booty out of the kitchen” and ended up as “Booty kitchen”. He knew how to shake but would do it with the most disgruntled face. I am glad I did a painting of him while he was alive, because I was grieving so badly when he passed that I could not look at his face without crying. Even now, 8 months later, I’m tearing up writing this.

He was my boy. I went through some of high school, all of college, and even several years after with him. We moved several times and he always settled right in. He was my comfort when I was lonely. He was good at knowing when I was feeling down and would poke me with his cold nose.

I miss him so very much.

Please feel free to share your own stories and photos. We would be happy to post them here to celebrate your pet’s life and mourn their passing with you.
